It is hard to believe the school kids are all a year older, and that summer is already here. We have had a fun year of parties, and retreats. We have also had deep dives into Bible study and meaningful prayers for our friends and neighbors who struggle. We at Southminster are grateful for the many volunteers and participants who have made this past year such a blessing to so many. From the youngest to the oldest, from the newb to the knowledgeable, we all find joy together! Please watch this 4 minute video that highlight some of our fun events this past year.
We cannot put into words how much time and energy goes into these types of events, because at the end of the day, it is our calling to serve God and our neighbors that motivates us. I know that if I ever meet someone that is looking for a place to feel welcomed and included, I tell them about the people of Southminster who follow Jesus. They are the real deal and the ones who make the biggest difference to me and my family.
