Picnic is free to the public. 11:30am Sunday June 12. Hamburgers and hotdogs with a variety of side dishes, desserts will be served in the gym with seating inside or outside. There will also be a variety of games for adults and kids both indoor and outdoor. We are also collecting non-perishable item for our food drive, if you would like to participate.
The congregation of Southminster has a long standing tradition of summer picnics. In years past is has been a great way for church members to get together for a relaxing lunch with fun games and good food. As we all know, there is no better way to kick off the summer than a picnic under the trees! Southminster is now changing what was a congregational event into a COMMUNITY event!
We are offering all the fare, some games, right here on the lawn. But the focus will be on inviting the neighborhood to get to know us as we can get to know you. This is one of many steps Southminster is taking to stay engaged within our community.
