Blessing of the Backpacks: A Wonderful Start to the School Year

What a wonderful time we had at our Blessing of the Backpacks event! It was a beautiful opportunity for our church family to come together, pray over our students, and encourage them as they begin another school year.

During the service, Pastor Karl reminded our students that Jesus wants us to be our very best, not because we have to be perfect, but because we are called to reflect His love wherever we go. He encouraged the kids to be kind, generous, and courageous, even when they feel scared or uncertain. His message was a wonderful reminder that following Jesus means showing His love through the way we treat others.

To make the day even more special, each child received a small keychain keepsake to take with them. This little reminder can stay on their backpack throughout the school year, reminding them of the message they heard and encouraging them to let the love of Jesus shine through their words and actions.

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make our Blessing of the Backpacks such a meaningful and memorable event. We pray for a safe, joyful, and blessed school year for all our students!
