What to Expect on Sunday
Join us for worship on at 10am! At Southminster Presbyterian Church, Sunday morning is a time to gather together as a community, worship God, and make connections with one another. Whether you have been attending for year, are returning after some time away, or have never visited before, you are warmly invited to join us. You do not need to be familiar with Presbyterian worship or know exactly what to expect, we welcome people from all backgrounds and stages of faith!
Our Worship service includes a combination of traditional and contemporary elements, creating a meaningful experience for a variety of worship preferences. You can expect to hear and sing both classic and contemporary hymns, with our full organ accompaniment providing music throughout the service. We are also blessed to occasionally welcome guest musicians, who bring additional musical gifts.
The sermon is an important part of our Sunday worship. Each week, you can expect a message that is intended to challenge, encourage, and help us reflect on how our faith connects to everyday life. Our hope is that you leave worship with something to think about, something to encourage you, and a renewed sense of God's presence as you begin the week ahead.
After the service, we hope you stay and spend some time with us! Fellowship and refreshments provide an opportunity to meet members of our congregation, enjoy a cup of coffee or a snack, and continue conversations from the morning. It is a relaxed time to get to know one another and build community beyond the worship service.
Most importantly, come as you are. Sunday morning at Southminster is about worshiping together, growing in faith, and being part of a welcoming community. We look forward to meeting you and sharing Sunday morning with you!
