Our family was blessed this past year that we found out just before the lockdown that Jennifer was pregnant! What a harrowing time to worry about getting infected, but also joyous to think about the promise of a new little life to love.
Our baby girl was born healthy and happy and we owe it all to God, the giver of all good things.
We remember in our prayers those who have struggled and not felt the love of God this past year too. Indeed many people suffer and it is hard to see God when times are hard.
May the promise of the scriptures, of a God who gives grace in abundance in times and places when we are unawares, give us hope in good times and bad. May the hope of the Christ Child be the hope of the nations.
