Children's Ministry Opportunities
Those who love the Lord and enjoy working with children are always welcome to join our team! We have both long term and short term opportunities that involve working directly with the children and behind the scenes. If you would like to serve in the children's ministry team, contact the church office!
Vacation Bible School
We have many opportunities to serve during VBS each summer! We have opportunities for both up-front-and-in-the-action or behind the scenes. A few open positions include committee heads, lead and assistant teacher, recreation assistants, crafts helpers, and gophers.
Sunday School
This is the perfect opportunity to build lasting relationships with the children of this church. Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers help share a love of God and the message of God's Word with the children of Southminster through Bible lessons, games, crafts, and music.
Please prayerfully consider giving your time to teach Sunday School.
Kid's Own Worship
We believe kids need to praise and worship God just as adults do. Kid's Own Worship is about kids worshiping God through fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities and understanding why God is worthy of our praise. After the Time for Children in each worship service, children ages 3 years old through 3rd grade are invited to join us in Room 13 for about 40 minutes of worship fun!
Worship Leaders and Worship Assistants share the joy of worship with the children of Southminster at either our Traditional Service at 9 am or at our Worship Celebration at 10:55 am.
