Southminster Presbyterian Church

David was born in Texas, grew up in Maryland and has lived in Alaska, Ohio, Virginia and Florida. He is the son of Kenn and Janet and has two older sisters. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1997 with a BA in History. He has been working in the church with youth and the coming generations since 1994. He has been serving as the Co-Pastor for Emerging Ministries at Southminster since October, 2006.

 

The best thing to happen to him was meeting Karey in 1998. He and Karey married in September, 1999. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida in 2004. He was ordained a minister in the PC(USA) in the Presbytery of the Yukon in February, 2005.

 

David has experience in worship, youth, and young adult ministry as well as church administration, children's ministry, information technology and worship. He is passionate about providing new and creative ways for helping people of all generations to meet and encounter God. He desires to see all people know Christ and make Him known.
